Seyo Beta Terms

Thanks for testing Seyo early. These Beta Terms are short on purpose. Please read them before you enter your access code. By ticking "I agree to the beta terms", you agree to them.

1. This is a private beta

Seyo is not finished. You're one of a small group invited to try it before it opens to everyone. Your access code is just for you. Please don't share it or post it anywhere.

2. Keep what you see confidential

Until we announce Seyo publicly, please keep what you see in the beta to yourself. That includes screens, features, designs, plans, and anything we tell you about what's coming. In particular:

• Don't post screenshots, screen recordings or descriptions of the app online or share them with the press.
• You can talk about your own music, profile and content. It's yours.
• This doesn't cover things that are already public, or things you knew before we showed them to you.

This lasts until we make that part of Seyo public, or for 2 years, whichever comes first.

3. Expect bugs, and possibly lost data

Because Seyo is still being built:

• Things may break, change, look different from one day to the next, or disappear.
• Seyo may be slow or unavailable at times.
• We may need to reset data, which could remove your posts, messages, uploads, link-ups or settings. We'll try to warn you first, but we can't promise to.
• Keep your own copy of anything you upload (songs, videos, artwork, documents). Seyo is not a backup.
• Some features show sample or demo content while they're being built.

The beta is provided "as is", without any promise that it will work or be available. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses caused by bugs, downtime or data resets in the beta.

4. Your feedback is free for us to use

We'd love your ideas, bug reports and suggestions ("feedback"). If you send us feedback, in the app or any other way, you agree that:

• Seyo can use it in any way, freely and forever: to change the app, build features, or anything else.
• We don't have to pay you or credit you for it, and it doesn't make you an owner of anything we build.
• You're not sharing anything you don't have the right to share (for example, someone else's private information or secrets).

This is only about your feedback. Your music, videos, photos and other content stay yours, as explained in the Terms of Service.

5. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy still apply

These Beta Terms add to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and don't replace them. If something in these Beta Terms conflicts with the Terms of Service, these Beta Terms win for the beta.

6. Ending the beta

We can end the beta, change who's in it, or change the access code at any time. You can stop testing at any time, and delete your account from Settings. Sections 2, 3 and 4 keep applying after the beta ends.

7. Changes

If we change these Beta Terms, we'll ask you to agree again before you continue.
